It was confirmed in May, 23d, 1996 by the decision of VI city council session of XXII convocation. Vert; escutcheon azure in laurel wreath, charged by circle gules on top with three crosses sable (one and two), on the escutcheon is Cossack or with gun.
Cossack on azure shield is a symbol of the Cossack lands where is a city, the circle with three crosses is Samoilovich emblem, the yellow-blue color means ukrainain flag, vert means polis'ky forest. Image on site V.Napytkin.
