Per fess by three engrailed fesses: Blue, Or, Gules, over it letter "M" Argent. First Azure; Orthodox cross on domed base Argent, on the sides date "1778" (in two digits on each side). Second Vert; towel Argent, embroidered Ukrainian ornament Gules, above it loaf Or, under it a part of gears Or with three prongs and three circles Gules.
Orthodox cross on the dome reflects the two versions about the name of the village. According to the first it was named in honor of Mary Mahdlalyna. This version shows a cross. Another version displays the name origin in honor of major Andrew Mahdenko, the founder and first owner of the settlement. According to this version, the dome indicates roof of the manor estate in XXVIII-XIX century. Letter "M" also indicates the name of village.
