The modern emblem

It was confirmed at February, 29th, 2000 by the settlement council decision. In a gules field on a vert base is argent warrior with bow and arrow. The author is I.Hamezhuk, adviser is B.Bernadsky, and heraldic examination was carried out by A.Grechylo.
The warrior on vert meadows symbolizes the heroic past of settlement, and also unites the most widespread versions of an origin of name "Lokachi". In one of them it is spoken, that the name occurs from a word "meadow". It is known, that in territory of settlement there were many bow-warriors.
