The modern emblem
Per fess abaised engraily by Verts and Azure. The triangular chief charged by cross Or and has bordure from alternating rectangular Argent and Sable. It keeps hanging key Argent, accompanied on the right and on the left by digits "16" and "67" Or. The shield is crowned by mauerkrone Argent with three towers and framed by two pine branches, which are twined by the ribbon Gules with the name of city - "Krasnyi Lyman" below.
Colour solution means agriculture (vert colour and yellow ear wheat). The vert colour is necessary to understand and as "a green fess" of Donets'ka oblast', that is underlined by branches of a pine.
Gules and or cross mean foundation of Krasnyi Lyman by the Cossacks. Azure base maen many lakes and pine woods. Besides, Krasnyi Lyman is one from the largest railway station of Donets'ka oblast', that is reflected by a silhouette of a railway. The key means city as northern gate of Donbas.
