In the archival documents village was mentioned in 1827. The documents suggest that the first inhabitants of the village were military (later state peasants), which were moved here.
The name of the village was received by small community of dissenters-believers, living in the village in the XIX-XX centuries. In 1853 there was built wooden church in honor of Icon of Kazan' God Mother.
Prior to the establishment of Soviet power the church has played a particularly important role in life. First, it significantly affects the education and behavior. Second, in the parish registers was a lot of valuable information about rural development, education and medicine. However, in 1918 it opened the list of churches, which had been razed by the bolsheviks. Temple was restored only in 2000.
