It was confirmed in July, 18th, 2018 by the decision #646 of XXXIV city council session of VIII convocation. Per pale. Azure; seven-beams cross Argent. Or; oak Vert. In the triangular chief Gules two swords Or in saltire, in the base two hills Vert. The emblem is inscribed in a decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is the inscription "VASYLIVKA".
Seven-beams cross is a sign of Potots'kyi's Counts, oak and crossed swords mean the forest Cossack camp that existed near the village until 1769, the hills denote Scythian mounds. The authors are V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov, P.Hrynchuk. Image on site V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov.
