The soviet emblem
It was confirmed in November, 17th, 1966 by the decision of city council executive committee.
Azure with the chief Argent and fess Carmine; image of South trumped factory Sable. The board is charged by the city name Argent on the Ukrainian language. In the chief is cossack sabre Or, het'mans mice and symbolical fire Gules as Zaporiz'ka Sich. Azure color means the Kahovka water basin on which coast the city is located. Carmine fess means the greatest manganous deposit of the country.
