It was confirmed in January, 16th, 1997 by the decision of village council session. Per bend sinister abaised. First Purple; sabre and pike Or in saltire. Second Or; river Azure, going to the right, over river is bull of natural colour.
The village is founded by the Cossacks - settlers, which have introduced the large contribution to development of Komyshyvate in the first period of its existence, that is reflected by weapon and purple. Now Komyshyvate is the large agricultural manufacturer, by animal industries (that is exhibited by the bull) and the cultivation of grain crops (it is displayed by ear). The or colour in base means generosity and wealth. The flowing past river directs territorial disposition on the river Komyshyvatka. The author is Oleh Kyrychok. Image on site V.Napytkin.
