STAROKOSTIANTYNIV

It was founded in the 1501 on the place of the settlement Kolishchynets'. In 1561 the settlement had been bought by prince K.Ostroz'kyi. The prince got two privileges from a king - to found a town and the Magdeburg Right. Since the beginning of the XVII century the town got the name Starokostiantyniv.
