The modern emblem
It was confirmed by the decision of region council session.
Purple; sun Or with 24 rays, over it stork Argent. On base two sheaf Or in saltire, over it blue-and-yellow ribbon with inscription "Polons'kyi region." Chief Azure separated by two wavy barrulets Argent; fortress and the inscription "1923" Argent. The shield is crowned by baroque decor and Tryzub.
