It was confirmed in September, 7th, 2010 by the decision of XXXI region council session of V convocation. Azure; carp Argent. Chief Or; two maces Azure in saltire accompanied on the sides by eight-beam stars Purple. Base Or; two mammoth tusks Azure in the arch. The shield is framed by a wreath from oak branches Vert, wheat ears Or and flower of flax Azure, intertwined by ribbon Azure with inscription "Korops'kyi region" Or and crowned by territorial crown Or.
Carp indicates the name of the region and the region center, two mammoth tusks mean the Mizyns'ka archaeological paleolithic excavations. Here were found the first ancient ensemble of musical instruments. The author is A.Hrechylo. Image on site V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov.
