Argent; base Azure is seperated by St.George ribbon. Sun Or, above it emblem of Ukrainian Army - formy cross Gules, above it two swords Argent edges up in saltire, above it round medallion Azure with Tryzyb Or. The shield is framed by a wreath from oak leaves Or, entwined by the St.George ribbon, and crowned by city crown Argent. On motto ribbon Azure inscription "HVARDIYS'KE".
Since 1942 George Ribbon was the honor sign in the Soviet Army Guard and was placed on the banners of the Guard military units and ships. It means name of the village. The logo of the Ukrainain Army indicates history of formation the Guards 42-th Tank Division (now - 25 separate Dnipropetrovs'k Airborne Brigade, as well as parts of the 93d mechanized brigade). Base Azure symbolizes the river Samara, on the left bank of which the village is located.
