Azure with embattled masoned base Argent; two swords Or points up in saltire, intertwined with bottony cross Argent in pale, accompanied on the sides by eight-pointed star Or and lily Argent. The shield is inscribed in a decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is inscription "SUTKIVTSI".
Intertwined swords and Orthodox cross are symbol of the church-fortress, a stone base is a symbol of the castle. Composition reflects the significance of village as outpost for the protection of native land. The star is the symbol of the Virgin, the lily in Christianity means a purity. In addition, the lily hints at France (because it is one of France symbols) - in the French city Etampes is fortress, similar to the Sutkivtsi church, so the lily emphasizes the uniqueness of this church not only in Ukraine but in Europe too.
