Ukrainian heraldry

Gules; pale argent, on it is a cuirassier sword sable in sheath, handle up, bow to the right. The shield is decorated by thorny and oak branches and topped by the stylized crown from eleven wheaten ears. Branches are twined by the tape azure with the motto or "TO LOVE - TO LIVE - TO CREATE".
In the ХIX century, in days of military settlements, on territory of area were Novhorod cuirassier reginemt squadrons from which has received the name the settlement becoming the modern centre of region. This regiment was noted and has become famous in fights of war 1812. During the stay in Southern military settlements has been recognized as the best cavalry regiment. The cuirassier sword in sheath symbolizes a peace life, but also a potential opportunity to repulse any encroachments for a quiet life and work. Branches of a blackthorn, a symbol of inviolability, represent remarkable reserved district of region - natural boundary the Ternovnyk (Blackthorn). Oak leaves with acorns, the emblem of a maturity and full force, mean hardness of sights and the responsibility of decisions. The wheaten ear symbolizes the advanced agriculture and fertility of the ground, ear quantity means the territorial communities of region.
