The soviet emblem
It was confirmed in December, 12th, 1989 by the decision #12 of city council executive committee.
Per fess wavy. First Vert; tent Argent near fur-trees Vert. Second Azure; boat Or with the sail Argent. In the canton Gules natural-colored chestnut branch. Cartouche Or; on the chief city name on the Ukrainian language, on the base sickle and hammer.
Tent and fur-tree are symbols of modern settlement-resort. Boat is symbol of ancient sailing on the Dnipro and Kozynka rivers.
