Vert; azure beam with argent fringings, in the centre is a or deer in a jump, above it is or flower in the right corner. The board is crowned by or territorial crown with battlements from lime and leaves and supported from both parties by two or lions with gules tongues. Below it on azure tape is or inscription "Sambirs'kyi region".
The deer representatives local fauna, it also appears on the arms of city of Sambir. The flower specifies, that the southern part of area enters into region Bojkovshchyna. In the big arms or lions certify a belonging of area to L'viv oblast'. The strip symbolizes Dnister river which proceeds on territory of area and divides it into two parts. Vert color means rich natural resources.
