The modern emblem
It was confirmed in May, 20th, 2004 by the decision #281-16/XXIV of XVI region council session of XXIV convocation.
Azure with flanks Vert; leaping horse Or with turned head, accompanied in chief by sunflower Or with middle Sable. The shield is enframed by ears Or and Ukrainian towel Argent with motto "Dnipropetrovs'kyi region".
