Vert; running horse Argent with the deviation to the right. It runs among the five sprouts of the feather-grass, two of which on the right, and three others on the left.
The village is founded by the ataman Khomutov, there was pasture of the horses for a Don's Trups - this sort of activity Khomutovo is obliged by the appearance.
Ears of feather-grass mean Khomutovs'ka steppe - largest and widely known reserve, in which presented numerous sorts of steppe vegetation.
