The modern emblem

It was confirmed in October, 28th, 2008 by the decision of XX region council session of V convocation.

Embowed to the dexter point in bend sinister gules. Azure; sun or with a human face. In the point are two sabres argent with handles or in saltire. Wing of eagle argent from sinister edge. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by mauercrown. Under a board on tape azure is inscription "1923" or.
The eagle wing is a historical symbol from ХVII century. Point is symbol of motion. Sabres are Cossack symbol. Vert means agriculture, sun on azure field isPodillya emblem.
