It was confirmed in February, 20th, 2004 by the decision of region council session. Per fess by wavy barrulet Argent. First Gules; flying stork Argent. Second Vert; opened book and factory Argent in fess. The board is framed by the wreath from ears Or and the pine and oak branches intertwined by blue-and-yellow tape, and crowned by the viburnum flower Or.
The stork symbolizes Polissya where is Borodyans'kyi region, it is a symbol of happiness. The opened book symbolizes achievements in the science and education; factory designates the industry. The barrulet symbolizes water riches and cleanliness. The ear of a wreath symbolizes rich crops and the basic culture which grow up in region, pine and oak branches symbolize woods.
