The modern emblem

It was confirmed in April, 19th, 2000 by the decision #141 of XIX city council session of IV convocation.

Vert; rising argent horse, which arises from the wavy argent-light-blue base and maintains the character of atom in or.
The horse personifies the ancient river Yuzhy Buh, which in the descriptions of southern grounds by the Greek contributor Herodot is called Gipanis, that with old-Greece is translated as White Horse. The association of horse symbolics and modern atom personifies disposition of city on a reserved Uzhy Buh landscape, association of the nature with peace atom, which is for the boon of mankind. The vert field symbolizes oof of the nature, beauty and cleanness of modern city.
The coat of arms is decorated by golden caurtoche in national Ukrainian style and crowned by a silver crown, which means the status of city.
