The beam represents Ukrainian fortified line of XVIII century - polygonal earthen redoubts. The broken line also symbolize the letter "M", the first in the name of the village. Snowdrops personifies a wide variety of local meadow, steppe and forest grasses, azure allegorically points to three water bodies - the Orel river, Bilovod lake and the Dnieper-Donbass canal.
In this emblem, for unknown reasons, changed the color of the snowdrop, it clearly demonstrates the violation of the so-called "golden" rule of heraldry, which categorically excludes the location of color on color.
