Gules; fortress Argent with church above gate, crowned by dome Or with a cross, and two low lateral towers with roofs Or and windvanes; the right tower grows behind of fortress shaft, the left tower grows from a gear wall facing church and fortress shaft; on the closed gate is triangular board Gules with prince sign Or. The shield is crowned by viburnum flower Argent and framed by the wreath Or from branches of a pine, alder, oak and linden.
The fortress symbolizes principality as a military post of Kyivs'ka Rus'. The symbol means historical Bishop's gate and Fedorivs'ka church. Gules is shield's colour of prince warriors. Wreath symbolizes region vegetation. Argent flower means the Kyivs'ka oblast'.
