The soviet emblem
It was confirmed in October, 26th, 1976 by the decision of IX city council session of XV convocation.
The shield per fess by gules and sable, with an azure fess. In the first part is one, and in the fess are two ruby miner's trolleys. In the second part are two or fern branches. Trolleys are symbol of city economy and its arrangement at merge of 3 rivers: the Zahidnyi Bug, Solokia and Rata.
