SEMYPOLKY

It is located on ancient Dukiv road from Chernihiv to Kyiv. According to a legend, inhabitants of village in 1240 showed resistance to Mongols and were destroyed. Polish documents from 1628 named the founder Bohins'kyi. There were regular fairs, the village receives the status of a small city. In 1919 were fights among Red Army and Ukrainian troops for it.
