FASTIVKA

The modern emblem

It was confirmed by the decision of village council session.

Argent with arched base Vert; oak of natural colors, under oak horseshoe Or eyes up; on the base sabre Argent in fess. The shield is enframed by cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or.
The symbolic reflects a local legend. Near village is a mountain. In one time on this mountain under the large oak somebody put horseshoe. Person, who will stay on it, can see Shamraivka church (in twenty kilometers from Fastivka). The mountain with an oak, under which are placed horseshoe and sabre, tell about this original legend.
