The modern emblem
It was confirmed in October, 26th, 2000 by the decision #311-17/XXIV of city council session.
Or; locomotive Sable. On the chief Azure are three cherry flowers Argent with middle Or. The shield is framed by a decorative cartouche and crowned by city crown argent.
Main figure of emblem is locomotive, which represents the city as one of the biggest railway junctions in Ukraine and recalls the role of the railroad in its development since the XIX century. Cherry flowers point to the many fruit trees in the estates of citizens and symbolize youth and beauty of a blooming city.
